This chapter presents a pioneer study of religion and migration from East Asian countries to Slovakia. First, it introduces the general cultural milieu. The central part focuses on the specifics of Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese migrants and religiosities. The discussion builds on the available academic literature and introduces some novel insights into East Asian religiosities in the country, which go beyond these ethnic communities. Finally, the probable reasons behind the lack of research in the area are characterised and suggestions are offered for what to look at in the future.
