This paper describes the ideas and problems of the Educalibre e-learning project, in which the author takes part. The basic objective of the project shares the development and exploitation of software components for web-based information systems appliedto education as well as organizing of teaching material for them. The paper concerns a problem of the mathematical-oriented couseware and describes the experience in developing LaTeX-supporting online converting tool.
