The Role of International Nomenclatures and Standards in Travel Shared Health Care
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper describes several classification systems that should support travel shared health care. Among the most important we can rank SNOMED CT, ICD-10, LOINC and others. The increasing number of classification systems and nomenclatures requires designing of various conversion tools for transfer between main classification systems. Metathesauri are designed to monitor and connect information from various heterogeneous sources. UMLS is the most extensive project nowadays. The analysis of suitability andusability of individual terminological thesauri has been started by mapping of clinical contents of the Minimal Data Model for Cardiology (MDMC) to various terminological classification systems. Close co-operation with physicians is essential for solving mapping problems. We have compared also how well attributes of MDMC are recorded in textual medical reports and in medical reports recorded by means of the ADAMEK software application.
