The main problem of PCB substrates at high frequencies and the problem is a long wiring. Physical properties of substrates as well as form, width and distance of conductive way and via may cause problems with the signal integrity at GHz frequencies. Thisarticle describes the results of long wiring measurements of long wires on designed test samples and comparison of these results with theoretical simulation.
