Eine Zusammenfassung der Funde mittelalterlicher Funde von bunten Perlen aus Böhmen, einschließlich des grundlegenden typologischen Schemas, das auf dem Inventar dieser Perlen beruht. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird Perlen mit einfachen und besonders Millefiori-Augen in Kombination mit Kreuzfaden geschenkt. Die unterschiedliche chemische Zusammensetzung der Gläser beider Arten von Perlen, wie sie durch die SEM-EDS-Methode bestimmt wird, kann auf verschiedene Produktionszentren hinweisen. Die Topographie der mitteleuropäischen Funde deutet darauf hin, dass diese Perlen aus dem Karpatenbecken nach Böhmen gelangt sind, das der Vermittler kultureller Einflüsse aus Süd- und Osteuropa war.

A summary of the findings of early medieval finds of polychrome beads from Bohemia, including the basic typological scheme based on the inventory of these beads. Special attention is paid to beads with simple and especially millefiori eyes in combination with crossing trails. The different chemical composition of glasses of both types of beads, as determined by the SEM-EDS method, may indicate different production centers. The topography of Central European findings suggests that these beads have spread to Bohemia from the Carpathian basin, which has been the mediator of cultural influence from Southern and Eastern Europe.
