Das Ziel des Kapitels ist es, die Konflikte zwischen den Juden von Prag und Poznań und anderen Einwohnern dieser Städte in der frühen Neuzeit darzustellen. Die Studie basiert auf Untersuchungen, die der Autor in archivalischen Quellen - den Stadtbüchern der Königsstadt Poznań einerseits und den Stadtbüchern der Prager Altstadt andererseits - durchgeführt hat. Auf ihrer Grundlage werden die Beziehungen zwischen den Einwohnern von Prag und Poznań in einer für die Juden so turbulenten Zeit wie der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts.

The aim of the chapter is to present the conflicts between the Jews of Prague and Poznań and other inhabitants of these cities in the early modern period. The study is based on research conducted by the author in archival sources - the city books of the royal city of Poznań on the one hand and the city books of the Old Town of Prague on the other. On their basis, a probe is made into the relations between the inhabitants of Prague and Poznań in such a turbulent time for Jews as the second half of the 16th century.
