Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The atRium Training School in Brno provided an intensive five-day programme in computational archaeology, equipping participants with essential coding skills in the R programming language, integration of archaeological datasets, especially the ARIADNE research infrastructure, and foundational methods in spatial data analysis. With the growing availability of large-scale archaeological data, computational techniques—particularly spatial analysis—have become critical tools for investigating past human behaviours and settlement patterns. The programme was structured into three focused blocks: introductory coding in R, querying of archaeological data within the ARIADNE Knowledge Base using SPARQL, and advanced spatial analysis techniques, including point pattern analysis. Emphasis was placed on reproducible research practices, fostering a rigorous methodological framework for computational archaeology.
