Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The article describes the program and activities of the 'atRium' Brno training school, which was dedicated to computational archaeology. Participants acquired essential coding skills in the R programming language, gained knowledge of archaeological data integrated into the ARIADNE research infrastructure, and developed expertise in fundamental spatial data analysis. With the increasing availability of large amounts of archaeological data, spatial analysis techniques provide valuable insights into past human behavior and settlement patterns. The program was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of computational methods in archaeology, with an emphasis on reproducible research using the R programming language and environment. The summer school was organized as part of the ATRIUM project (Advancing Frontier Research in the Arts and Humanities).
