Der Beitrag verfolgt das Ziel, die Fundumstände archäologischer Belege der Feinmetallproduktion in Mikulčice des 9. Jahrhunderts vorzustellen und ihre Spezifika einerseits in Bezug auf die Situation in weiteren Zentralorten Großmährens, andererseits im allgemeinen Kontext der frühmittelalterlichen Feinmetallurgie zu diskutieren.

The aim of this lecture is to present the find context of the archaeological evidence of fine metal production in Mikulčice in the 9th century and to discuss its specifics on the one hand in relation to the situation in other central sites of Great Moravia, and on the other hand in the general context of early medieval fine metalworking.
