This book includes the proceeding of the 5th International Scientific and Expert Conference of the International TEAM Society, where the latest findings in science and engineering concerned with the technology systems operation are reported. TEAM 2013 conference is arranged under the patronage Dean of the Faculty of the Manufacturing Technologies Technical University of Košice with a seat in Prešov Prof. Dr. Jozef Zajac and TEAM president Prof. Dr.Sc. Antun Stoić.This year, TEAM organizing committee received more than 110 submissions which authors and co-authors and participants are from 17 different countries of the world. Reviewers and members of the Program committee and their recommendations used for a selection of carefully reviewed all submissions in the spirit of Dražan´s words ?Do not prove, but improve. According their advices were accepted more than 100 papers. In addition to the contributed papers, prominent researches were invited to give keynote lectures in their respectiv
