Ce numéro entend identifier et analyser les éléments de rupture et de continuité présents dans la vie politique égyptienne, alors que l’État, qui s’est senti un temps menacé par la contestation, cherche à créer les conditions d’une stabilité nouvelle. La situation actuelle ne peut en effet se résumer à un simple retour de l’ancien régime : la période de turbulences traversée par le pays à partir de 2011 a impulsé un processus de redéfinition des rapports État-société, et ce processus est sans doute appelé à durer de longues années. Les articles rassemblés dans la présente livraison se penchent sur l’expression de la demande sociale, la réforme des institutions, et la mise en œuvre des politiques publiques dans l’Égypte d’Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.

This issue aims at identifying and analyzing continuities and novelties within the Egyptian ­political life. The state, once threatened by the revolutionary mobilization, is trying to stabilize its ­environment again. The current situation is not a mere return to the Mubarak’s system: the events of 2011 triggered a process of reshaping the state-society relationship, and this process will ­probably last a few more years. The articles gathered in this volume give an overview of the expression of social demand, the reform of the institutions, and the elaboration of public policies in Egypt, under the rule of Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.This issue aims at identifying and analyzing continuities and novelties within the Egyptian ­political life.
