Dieser Band enthält die Beiträge, die im Rahmen des Prager Kongresses »Aktuelle Fragen der Mozart-Forschung III« am 9. Oktober 2020 präsentiert wurden. Der Band enthält acht letzte Studien von Manfred Hermann Schmid, die er noch redaktionell bearbeitet hat. Von Mozarts Werken behandelte er die Es-Dur-Sinfonie KV 543, die »italienischen« Quartette KV 155−160, die Violinsonaten 1778−1781, die Sinfonia concertante KV 364, das Benedictus in Mozarts Messen, die Kantate Davide penitente, die Arien »Non temer, amato bene« KV 490 und »In te spero, o sposo amato« KV 440 sowie die Orchesterproblematik in der Oper Idomeneo.

The 29th volume of the “Mozart Studien“, containing the papers presented on 9 October 2020 at the Prague Congress “Aktuelle Frager der Mozart-Forschung III“, has been published by Hollitzer in Vienna. The volume contains eight recent studies by Prof. Dr. Manfred Hermann Schmid (†2021), which deal with e.g. Symphony in E flat major K. 543, Benedictus in Mozart’s Masses, the cantata Davide penitente, as well as orchestral issues in the opera Idomeneo. The editors of the volume are Prof. Manfred Hermann Schmid and Milada Jonášová from the Department of Musicology at the Institute of Art History.
