This chapter explores the legal dimensions of securing food resources for the population in the context of climate change impacts on agriculture in the Czech Republic. The chapter begins by addressing the constitutional enshrinement of the right to food and related issues such as food safety, self-sufficiency, food waste, and the social aspects of agriculture. It also considers climate change adaptation and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. The second part focuses on the legal framework governing the protection of environmental components in connection with the risks posed by agricultural activities and food production.
