Název v původním jazyce
Estimation of Evapotranspiration in the Uhlířská Catchment
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The study was conducted to estimate ET rates from mountain grass in the experimental watershed and to verify the function of the lysimeter. PET was computed from weather data using P-M formula. To consider seasonal dormancy, the changeable vegetation characteristics were implemented. 2 approaches were tested in order to find a method for estimation of PET with the data limited. The analyses revealed the key role of humidity due to the fact that its high values do not allow remaining capacity for the water vapour released by ET. Where humidity data were available, the method which estimates missing parameters indirectly from available records produced better results than the Hargreaves equation. The lysimeter water balance and simulation of the suctionpressures within the lysimeter body demonstrated that an inadequate water supply system limited the use of lysimeter for quantification of the ET. The water losses calculated by lysimeter are mostly lower than estimated PET.
