Auxiliary structures (scaffolding, formwork, bracing) are technologically essential for the production of the main supporting structures of the building. And this is the not the inconsiderable proportion of fixed assets construction companies (between 10-20%). But decision making on purchasing of ancillary structures and evaluating the effectiveness of their deployment and use is in many construction companies done sporadically, and more or less intuitively. The reason for such conduct is the complexityof decision making on the auxiliary building structures and usually also a lack of valid data. The article is a response to questions of many construction engineers and economists as it answers questions related to the acquisition (purchase, lease), registering and evaluating of the effectiveness of auxiliary structures, which are now, in the time of building decrement and finding reserves, of particular importance.
