    In the Czech Republic global aerial laser scanning of the entire national territory began in 2009. At the same time, the pilot projects were carried out of mobile laser scanning, which has higher spatial accuracy and point's density. On the Czech Technical University in Prague a case project of monitoring the state highway using mobile scanning has been started. The new highway from capital city of Prague to Hradec Kralove city (about 100km) was documented using the Lynx mobile mapping system. After construction completion in 2010 it became clear that some parts of this new highway was not well done; by using of new scanning distortions were found, which helped detect all problematic areas. Processing of the data is not simple in case of line construction because of problems with data transformations to national coordinate frame.
