This article is focused on robust statistical methods and their utilization in processing of geodetic measurements. Described robust estimates are implemented into the outliers rejection process. First part of the article shortly describes principles andmethods of robust estimation. Further the outliers rejection method is proposed and experimentally tested on real geodetic data. Specifically, there is shown a case of outliers rejection in the adjustment of geodetic measurement of free geodetic network.
