We consider the nonsteady motion of a viscous incompressible fluid described by the Navier-Stokes system. In the first part we describe this systém in general. We mention some famous results of this theory and recall some well known open problems. In thesecond part we present some results on stability of a strong solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to perturbation of the initial velocity in some norms.
