Optimizing database architecture for the thermal analysis results of building materials
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The process of evaluation and identification of thermal analysis results requests a certain amount of time and users' knowledge, as there is no universally accepted search-based software library, in contrary to some other important analytical techniques. Those libraries help to compare the measurement data with spectra collections stored in databases. In the field of thermal analysis, such library comparisons have been missing so far. Thermal analysis measurements are time-consuming, and the data obtained are dependent on many different parameters (measurement conditions, age of samples, environment, stoppage of hydration, etc.). It is essential to store all information about experiments to allow their comparison over time and exchange these results between scientists. Once these data are stored and well organized, the structured databases facilitate modelling and the use of more advanced analytic tools such as data mining algorithms. Therefore, the present paper proposes an approach for the storage of thermal analysis results with a focus on building materials, from the design of the database to several possible applications
