The Praha metro is part of Czech critical transport infrastructure. Therefore, great care is given to its safety. Due to aging the structures, fittings and systems, and new requirements on serviceability and safety, the re-construction of its parts needs to be performed. In paper we concentrate to reconstruction process safety. The paper deals with risk management plan for one important metro station. The aim is to prepare countermeasures for mitigation of expected risks at reconstruction to prevent delay in reconstruction.. At reconstruction, there are considered new legislative demands (e.g. inserting the automate control installations) and knowledge on metro station operation in last period (more than forty years), namely in particular at flood in 2002 when station was seriously damaged. The risk management plan is processed, tested and introduced in practice.
