Hydrolysis of Lignocellulosic Plants and Wastes for Biofuel Production
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
While biofuel processing from plants with starch basis (e. g. corn, wheat) is common and relatively simple, the processing of plants with lignocellulosis basis, which, so far, has not been used (like crop leftovers, agricultural wastes, wood chippings, old newspaper) is not. Hydrolysis (saccharification) is a lot more difficult and expensive, especially because of the need to dispose of the lignin and hemicelluloses present. This is carried out mainly by means of physical, physically-chemical, chemicaland biological processes on the present. These are however expensive as investments and the operating costs are also high. The aim of this work is used of enzymatical and steam expansion decomposition of lignocellulosic materials. From the results of this research is clear that the use of lignocellulosic materials for enzymatic hydrolysis is not only possible but also profitable. The system for steam hydrolysis was manufactured and assembled.
