This paper presents a collaborative project of the largest producer of prefab timber housing in Czechia and the Czech Technical University in Prague which focuses on digitization and automation of production processes of prefabricated energy efficient timber family houses. The aims of the project are to significantly improve the digitization of the pre-production, production and assembly process and optimize the production in order to increase the quality of the production, speed of the preparatory processes and capacity of production whilst reducing the cost of the production. Through this conference paper we are presenting the first projects’ results of the initial analysis of the production processes.
