3D printing is a new technology that can be used for small batch or piece production. In this paper, I present a 3D printed tool with a Z-axis infill and a material. The tool was made of PLA, PET-G, and ABS. The infills were made of two different materials, namely, Triangle and Grid infill, and the infill densities were 80% and 20%, respectively. The results showed that the material density and the printing time increased linearly with increasing infill density. In addition, I also tested two 3D infill types and two infill materials that provide strength only in the Z axis. Finally, I decided to stamp 20 pieces of sheet metal on a three-dimensional (3D) printed tool.
