A simple equivalent circuit of a left-handed coplanar waveguide is presented in this paper. Approsimate dependences of the equivalent circuit element values on physical dimensions of the left-handed coplanar waveguide are presented. The dispersion characteristics computed with the aid of the equivalent circuit is aimed to represent the properties of the fabricated left-handed coplanar waveguide.
