This paper lumps together first experiences with the experimental vehicle opera-tion. Student team on the Department of Electric Drive and Traction is engaged in the inno-vation of CTU solar vehicle traction equipment. In frame of this project is i.a. tested wheel body BLDC PM motor with planet gear box. Experimental vehicle was built in Juli 2007 for tests of drive running properties. It was furnished with couple of conventional leaden gel form starting accumulators towed behind the vehicle.
