The project is focused on the new approach to controlling cognitive networks. The main idea lies in implementation of a new concept of so called intelligent wall, i.e. walls placed inside a building which are able to adjust their electrical properties onthe basis of current needs of the network users. The project deals with the modeling of such walls and their effect on the wireless system performance. The aim of this project is to design a system including intelligent walls which will be able to control itself autonomously. Such a system will be able to be included to existing cognitive systems. Cognitive systems are wireless networks which are able to change parameters of communication channel dynamically in order to achieve the maximal throughput of the system.
