EMG Signal Decomposition Methods and Their Possible Usage in Active Prothesis
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This work is concerned with developing of method for decomposing surface EMG signal with respect to the future use in automated prosthesis system. Currently it is a first study for alternative computer interface input project. The main point of current work is to create map of best areas on human body suitable for recognition - decomposition with maximum of uniqe signals (MUAPTs). Proposed method is non invasive. It uses special 4 channel differential electrode for obtaining signal from small surface area on palm (thumb) or other places on the body with high concentration of muscles having smooth motoric capability. Signal is then obviously filtrated via highpass and low pass filter and digitalized at high frequencies. Next step is evaluation of obtained signals (quality, noise ratio, etc.). Last step is automatic decomposition of recieved signal to basic MUAPTs. Methods involved in this step are cross-correlation, EM algorithm a MAP estimation. Output of this work is a study of suitab
