The paper focuses on the simulation program, which has been created for the modelling of the traffic intersection controlling system. This simulation program has been created in terms of research purpose and it is able to simulate not only the static, but also the dynamic and fuzzy controlling systems of a crossing. The functionality of the program has been verified with real data from the field survey; this approach also enabled to compare the practically used departure models and to design our own departure model.
