The term quality of life is naturally a very problematic concept regarding many aspects (partly subjective ones), which influence the overall concept. Very often it is a narrow field where the impact of various health problems of patients (e.g. evaluation of the quality of life of older people and chronically diseased patients – the increase in average life span or new possibilities of cure of complicated diseases importantly contributed to introducing of these evaluations) are studied. Generally we will put more stress on judging the impact of various systems on the quality of life.
