This article focuses on the principle of using thermal imaging cameras for the creation of airport ground surveillance system, which would be suitable for the conditions of reduced visibility. In the article is shown basic principle of use with mathematical analysis. Such a system would be suitable due to the non-cooperative independent functioning.
