The article presents results of measurement of the speed in the road tunels which could be aplied on the same way for open roads too. The section speed control method in used. The standard deviation was also small and it means that a traffic flow is wellharmonized. It decreases a volume of risk potential and enables to equip tunnel on optimal way from safety point of view.
