There are several challenges and milestones supporting ecology and sustainability as Green Deal 2050 in the foreground. And we expect that attraction of more people into the public transport is one of the most important parts of the way to accomplish these challenges. The more people in public transport are, the better modal-split and the less emissions from transportation achieved. We believe that developing public transport quality is the key to increasing public transport demand. But every traveller perceives the service quality in unique way, so it is important to find a best compromise that could satisfy the majority of the travellers. This case study tries to reveal the impact of public transport quality offer on travel demand and recognize traveller’s preferences. The main questions are following: What does the public transport quality consist of? How does it influence the travellers? Is there a dependency between quality and demand? Research objective is to support the transport planners and operators with a knowledge of traveller’s preferences. The research results are going to help the stakeholders during the infrastructure operation adjustment and new vehicles buying.
