Konference Architektura dětem, kterou zorganizovala Fakulta architektury ČVUT 13. a 14. října 2017. Smyslem konference bylo otevřít diskuzi o tom, jak vyučovat na školách téma veřejného prostoru a architektury, jak v dětech probudit zájem o jejich nejbližší okolí a jak je zapojit do jeho proměny. Řečníci se zkušenostmi z této oblasti prezentovali ukázky příkladů dobré praxe. U kulatých stolů pod vedením zkušených moderátorů účastníci diskutovali o potřebách učitelů, lektorů a architektů pracujících s dětmi. Závěrem bylo možné se zúčastnit workshopu finské organizace Arkki Sweet architecture a workshopu Jeden svět na školách organizace Člověk v tísni.

Conference Architecture to children organized by the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague on 13th and 14th October 2017. The main aims were firstly to increase awareness about teaching architecture and public space topic in schools, secondly how to make children interested in their neighborhood, and thirdly how to engage them in the process of architectural changes within their community. Speakers from various fields of architecture and education presented good examples of best practices. Round table discussions were facilitated by experienced professionals and conference attendees could talk about topics from various point of views. At the end of the second day of the conference, people could take a part in one of the workshops. One was with the participation of children called Sweet architecture by Finish and Czech organisation Arkki and the other one was Jeden svēt na školách by the organisation Človēk v tísni.
