The Technical Report has been prepared by Project Team SC1.T1.6 “Interdependence of climatic actions (wind, snow, thermal and atmospheric icing) and glass structure” developed under the Mandate M/515 for the evolution of 2nd generation of EN Eurocodes. It provides supplementary guidance on the probabilistic basis for the determination of partial safety factors and load combination factors for the climatic actions including their interactions. The technical report provides background information for the modelling of climatic loads, their interactions and their effects on structures. It gives principles for the calibration of partial factors and combination factors, which are illustrated by selected examples. The Report thus complements the guidance on climatic actions, their interactions and their effects on structures given in the 2nd generation of Eurocodes.
