This special Issue aims to provide a platform in which various studies are employing Industry 3.5 strategy via disruptive innovations to address the needs for humanizing industrial revolutions and total resource management for sustainable migration. Indeed, new business models and manufacturing solutions are affecting global resource utilization and the environment. Leading nations have reemphasized smart manufacturing and resilient supply chains, in which international companies are battling for dominant positions in restructuring platforms for global manufacturing networks after COVID-19. However, most of emerging countries may not be able to directly migrate for Industry 4.0 and are difficult to address new challenges raised by pandemics such as COVID-19.
