Interfacial surface: characterization, physical and chemical modification, application
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This study deals predominantly with surface properties of cellulose derivatives. The investigation of surface tension has been carried out in aqueous cellulose derivative solutions and at solid state as well. The surface tension of solutions was determined by Wilhelmy tensiometric method for solutions. The surface tension parameters of cellulose ether films were calculated from the experimentally determined contact angles of apolar and polar liquids using four different methods: according to Owens and Went; Wu; Neumanna; van Oss, Chaudhury and Good. All of mentioned approaches are possible to use for determination of surface tension of cellulose ether films because they are in good agreement. The physical and chemical surface modifications were made byadding different electrolytes, cation-active and anion-active surfactants and various gas plasma treatment. From the kinetic study of swelling and dissolution cellulose derivatives it has been verified that temperature dependence of swel
