The paper summarizes the experience of teaching Computer Science at the Faculty of Management and Economics (FaME) at Tomas Bata University (TBU) in Zlín. It describes methodology and technology support of using ICT in teaching full-time and part-time students. An overview of the subject areas, methodology, application of information and communication technologies in instruction and its organization are presented. The results of some research activities in the field of Informatics instruction are introduced, and options for future development of the courses are proposed. The experience of the introduction of new approaches and methods into teaching with the use of ICT is offered. In addition, the experience of teaching and students' knowledge assessment are included. In conclusion, the future directions of teaching Computer Science at TBU in Zlín are indicated.
