COVID-19 pandemic is the global issue, the effect of COVID-19 on the global economy could not measure. Most of the industries are destroyed by the thunderstorms namely COVID-19. The authors, however, have an optimistic view of the fintech industry, in detail is the mobile payment, a main segment of the fintech industry. COVID-19 is a good chance for the development of mobile payment in the future throughout changing in using banknotes and coins habit, the growth of e-commerce is supported by the mobile payment can change the shopping habit and increasing the degree of customer’s trust in using mobile payment products. Furthermore, this is the best chance for the government to implement the strategy of society without cash
