The workshop addressed the challenges of identifying bromography across international contexts, with a focus on inconsistent terminology and its consequences for documenting historical photographic processes. It outlined the key technological principles and workflow of bromography and discussed distinguishing features compared to related techniques. The program included an expert discussion with students and staff oriented toward photographic conservation, material evidence of the process, and a comparison of Czech and Polish research contexts and surviving examples.
