The seventh annual international conference on Anglophone Studies, From Theory to Practice 2015, was hosted on September 3-4 by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The 48 participants (including 19 foreign), representing 7 countries, presented papers and held discussions in sections on Linguistics, Literature, and Cultural Studies. The keynote speeches were delivered by Lesley Jeffries from the University of Huddersfield, UK and Eva Zettelmann from the University of Vienna, Austria. The conference helped to establish new forms of cooperation between the participating universities and to the development and internationalization of the organizing institution.
