Aniline Oligomers: Characterization and Electrical Properties
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In this work, aniline oligomers were synthesized via oxidative reaction of aniline with p-benzoquinone in the presence of methanesulfonic acid (MSA) of various molar concentration. The synthesized samples were characterized using UV-vis spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis. The UV-vis spectra confirmed the presence of the oligomeric structure with the strong absorption peak below 400 nm in comparison to polyaniline base. The investigation of the thermal properties emphasized influence of the molar concentration of the MSA used for reaction. Morphology was investigated with the help of scanning electron microscopy where interesting flake-like shape was observed. Conductivity and dielectric relaxations of prepared samples were determined. Observed relaxation processes related to charge transport were described in terms of activation energies. Rather strong influence of the molar concentration of MSA on the electrical properties was confirmed.
