Optimized Circuitry for AMR Magnetometer
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Anisotropic magnetoresistive sensors have gained a significant importance in the last three decades. Developed originally for the binary operation in the hard-drive reading heads, they approved in a modified design as a reasonable choice for linear magnetic field sensing applications. As for their sensitivity, they occupy the area between less sensitive Hall sensors and more sensitive fluxgates. To achieve the best possible results with AMR sensors, the circuitry using them as a sensing element requiresa careful design. Basic information on the circuit design is published in application notes of the producers [1, 2]. Some additional considerations on the topic can also be found in [3, 4]. However, there is no a compact paper dealing with the design ofan AMR magnetometer as a whole, using the advanced techniques as flipping and feedback compensation mode in the best possible way. It has been shown that with a proper circuit, the AMRs can achieve considerably better measuring performan
