Foreign Interference in The Context of Geopolitical and Technological Change

Anotace anglicky

The INTERFER project will create a unique inter-institutional platform for excellence-oriented research on foreign interference in the context of geopolitical and technological change. The aim of the project is to implement excellent research projects, divided into four interlinked areas, which focus on the dynamics of foreign interference and its impacts. The research will be conducted across several disciplines and will use a wide range of methods, including data analysis, experimental research and case studies. Emphasis will be placed on empirical and theoretical findings that will contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of foreign interference and its impact on society. The project will provide new empirical and theoretical insights, applied results and specific policy recommendations for Czech and European institutions. Other objectives of the project include: - Establishing partnerships with foreign universities and research institutions with a focus on joint publications and professional workshops. - Supporting the participating institutions through new research positions for foreign experts and scientific mobility, allowing the transfer of foreign experience. - Creation of a mobile behavioural laboratory BELSS at Charles University as a tool for experimental research in the social sciences. - Supporting junior researchers through mentoring of research projects and creation of new PhD and postdoctoral positions. - Providing data-driven recommendations for public institutions and policy decision-making in the area of foreign interference.
