VZLU is involved in project MOSTA which has extraordinary importance by its technical contents and range not only for VZLU from 2010 year. There is significant innovation of L-410 UVP-E aircraft into new generation aircraft, which should be certified according to CS/FAR 23 regulations under the L-410 NG marking. VZLU participate in principle in phase of design by strength analyses of Damage Tolerance structures, aeroelastic analyses and in phase testing by preparation and execution of strength tests ofwing with fuselage central part, landing gear testing and by cooperation in service documentation from point of view of service NDT inspections. The project importance consist in obtaining and application of new knowledge, experiences and practices in area of safety proof of aircraft structures designed using Damage Tolerance philosophy.
