The paper deals with an authorship and the authenticity of the assessment of the artworks. The first step includes a “subjective” method of stylistic analysis; this form of authentication relies on the art historians and their knowledge of the uniqueness of the artist’s style. The second way is a study of the chemical and mineralogical composition. Both methods complement each other.
