Project of bilateral comparison between CMI and SMU was initiated during December 2011. It was defined as the comparison of fixed point realizations of ITS-90 temperature scale. There were used fixed points from the triple point of Argon (83.8058 K) to the freezing point of Copper (1357.77 K). Comparisons were realized according to technical comparisons protocols T-K3, T-K4, etc. Except of standard procedures described in technical protocols, fixed points of Argon and Gallium were measured by direct comparison of these points. For the purpose of temperature measurements were used Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRT) with long-stem and for higher temperatures was necessary to use high temperature SPRT?s. These measurements were also performed with pure-elements thermocouples (Pt/Au and Pt/Pd). CMI prepared an extra ultra-stable thermometer for each fixed point.
