Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Typographische Aspekte der Präsentation von lexikographischen Daten fristen im Rahmen der metalexikographischen Forschung ein Schattendasein. Der Vortrag setzt sich zum Ziel, auf die Möglichkeiten der Wortbildungsdarstellung durch typographische Mittel in einem neuen deutsch-tschechischen Wörterbuch, das am Institut für germanische Studien der Philosophischen Fakultät der Karls-Universität in Prag entsteht, einzugehen. Da Übersetzungswörterbücher in der Regel auch didaktische Ziele zu verfolgen haben, steht hier der Benutzeraspekt im Vordergrund. Es wird dabei die Ansicht vertreten, dass v. a. Autoren der elektronischen Wörterbücher auch in Bezug auf die Wortbildungsdarstellung neue Wege einzuschlagen versuchen sollten

Typography, the rational organization of graphic language, has been a rather neglected area of metalexicographic research so far. In the present paper, I consider the repertoire of typographic effects as a means of optimizing the support of the acquisition of word formation in the emerging Large Academic Dictionary German-Czech, an output of a project pursued at the Institute for Germanic Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy & Arts, Charles University in Prague. I posit that the primacy of the user aspect is the key point here. In addition, I argue that especially authors of electronic dictionaries should be braver in implementing innovative solutions to the problem of representation of word formation in bilingual dictionaries.
