The chapter named ""Intergenerational sharing of knowledge in an organisation"" deals with mutual knowledge sharing in the context of age diversity. This text pays greater attention to the group of older employees and reflects particularly upon age management, age discrimination and ageism in the work context and differences among the so-called employee generations, work abilities of older employees and their work preferences. Knowledge sharing is based primarily in the concepts of learning organisation, intellectual capital and knowledge management. The key point of departure for intergenerational sharing of knowledge in an organisation is intergenerational learning. This chapter accentuates the importance of intergenerational sharing of knowledge inan organisation and its contribution. Attention is paid to the factors of individuals' willingness to share their knowledge, their motivation to offer knowledge as help, benefit for the others and in the interest of organisation.
