This paper presents a pilot research on Romanian geo-entities in European Poetry, performed on the PoeTree corpus. PoeTree is a harmonized multilingual corpus of European poetry, which currently contains documents in Czech, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, and Spanish, mostly dating back to the 19th century. It promises to provide manually edited entity linking. That is still in progress and the linked data set is not yet available, but by courtesy of PoeTree developers, we could identify poems with at least one mention of a Romanian geo-entity.
