One of the key mathematical environments within Hejný &apos;s method, the Bus, was used as an object of an experiment in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2013. The research findings, compared with findings in Czech Republic, indicate that no matter the cultural setting, the Bus environment can empower both the early conceptualization of natural numbers and the development of important mathematical skills such as the mental operations and the meaningful organization of arithmetical data.
